Getting to Casey Key Resort

Casey Key Resort is located at 317 Casey Key Road, Nokomis, FL 34275, on a quiet stretch of barrier island just south of Sarasota. Guests typically arrive by car from nearby airports, by rideshare or car service, or even by boat via the Intracoastal Waterway.

Most guests fly into one of these nearby airports and then drive or arrange a car service to the resort:

  • Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport (SRQ)
The closest major airport, typically about 30–40 minutes by car.
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA)
A larger hub with more flight options, usually around 1.5–2 hours by car.
  • Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW – Fort Myers)
Another regional option, generally 1.5–2 hours by car.
  • Punta Gorda Airport (PGD)
A smaller airport with select carriers, often about an hour’s drive.

From any of these airports, guests commonly use rental cars, private car services, or rideshare/taxis to reach the island.

Driving in, you’ll head toward Nokomis, FL, then follow local routes toward Casey Key Road. Once you cross onto Casey Key, you’ll follow the shoreline road until you reach 317 Casey Key Road and the resort entrance. Parking details for overnight guests and event attendees can be provided when you book.

For guests arriving by water, Casey Key Resort offers boat slips on Blackburn Bay (advance arrangements recommended). Navigate via the Intracoastal Waterway, dock on the bay side, and enjoy full access across our beach-to-bay property during your stay or event.
